Parent consultations

Due to the current shortage of clinicians and the increasing need, we understand that families may be placed on waitlists for significant periods of time.

Our parent consultations offer families an opportunity to meet with a speech pathologist on to:

• discuss their concerns and ask questions
• learn strategies that can be implemented at home to support their child
• access professional and specifically tailored advice
• determine whether assessment is required

Appointments are billed at 30 minute intervals and a written summary is provided upon completion. Please note that no assessments or screeners are completed with your child at this time.
